FULTON, NY – Harold J. McCarthy, 77, of Fulton, died Tuesday July 22, 2014, peacefully at home with his wife at his side.
Mr. McCarthy was born in Fulton, the son of the late Ted and Marian (Reeves) McCarthy.
He was a retired mechanic from International Harvester and Oswego Wire.
Mr. McCarthy enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Valarie (Connelly) McCarthy; his children, Allison Raum, Harold J. McCarthy Jr. and Jonathan McCarthy all of Oswego; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Burial was held privately.
The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second. St. S., Fulton.
