Horace H. Bullard, 89

FULTON, NY – Horace H. Bullard, 89, of Granby died Thursday February 19, 2015, in Seneca Hill Manor.

Mr. Bullard was born in Fulton, the son of the late David and Aurel (Vanlinder) Bullard.

Mr. Bullard was a lifetime resident of Fulton.

After his retirement, he enjoyed spending winters in Orange City, Florida.

He worked as a meat cutter at Bullard’s Grocery Store in Fulton and a clerk at Black-Clawson, Fulton.

He retired in 1988 as a dispatcher for the city of Fulton.

Mr. Bullard was a communicant of Granby Methodist Church.

He enjoyed golfing and was a golf ranger at Griffin’s Greens in Oswego.

Mr. Bullard also enjoyed bowling, playing the drums and he was a square dance caller.

He was predeceased by his wife, Betty Bullard, in 2011; and son, Edward Hubbard, in 2005.

Mr. Bullard is survived by son, Everett Hubbard of Liverpool; daughters, Rose (Jerry) Griffin of Granby and Toni (Dennis) Gigliotti of Glenfield; daughter-in-law, Marcis Hubbard of Oswego; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Bullard was also predeceased by his brothers, Howard, Tracy, Carl, Ernest, Edwin, Charles, Frederick and Roy Bullard; and sisters, Martha Meldrum, Theda Ouderkirk and Florence Swenson.

Graveside services will be in the spring at Fairdale Cemetery.

The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second. St., Fulton.
