James A. Marra, 64; of Hannibal died at University Hospital, Syracuse.
He was born to the late Roger and Betty (Caswell) Marra in Fulton and he has been a resident of Hannibal for 34 years. Mr. Marra retired from Niagara Mohawk after 32 years of service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman having enjoyed both international and national sportsmen trips. He was a co-founder, rider and current president of the Oswego Valley ATV Club. Mr. Marra especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Patricia Marra of Hannibal, NY; 3 children: Susan (Stephen) Stirushnik of Fulton, Karen (Mark) Harrington of Oswego, NY; and Jeffrey Marra of AZ, 2 sisters: Patricia (William) Sawyer of Phoenix, NY; and Nancy Burns of FL, 5 grandchildren: Stephanie (Matthew) Dupee, Kyle Menter, Shawn Stirushnik, Taylor Menter, Brendan Marra, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 9:00 AM Friday in the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., and 9:30 AM in Holy Trinity Church where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be conducted 4:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.
