OSWEGO, NY – James J. Schroeder, 27, of Oswego, died Thursday November 6, 2014, at Oswego Hospital, Oswego.
He was born in Syracuse, NY, and he has been a resident of Oswego for five years.
James enjoyed life and he especially enjoyed spending time with his children and large extended family.
He was predeceased by his mother, Toni Hemingway.
James is survived by fiancée Shana McRae of Oswego; three children: Davis McRae, Hailey McRae and Anita McRae all of Oswego; father, Peter Schroeder Sr., of Oswego; step-father, Richard Hemingway of Syracuse; and several brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:15 a.m. Saturday at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego.
Burial will be held privately.
Calling hours will be conducted Saturday from 9 to 10:15 a.m. at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home.

To the whole Schroeder family including those who I have met and those who I haven’t, There are no words to describe how sorry I am for yet another tragedy striking your family in such a short time.
