John J. Bonacorsi, 90

OSWEGO, NY – John J. Bonacorsi, 90, of Oswego, died Sunday April 8, 2018, in St. Luke Health Services, Oswego.

He was born in Giarre, Italy, the son of the late Alfred and Leonarda (Ferlito) Bonacorsi.

Mr. Bonacorsi worked for Lakeshore Transportation for more than 42 years as a truck driver.

He served in the United States Army during World War II.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Mr. Bonacorsi is survived by his wife, Amelia Bonacorsi of Oswego; and their daughter, Anne Marie (John) Coviello of Boston; and grandchildren, Christina Marie Coviello and Joseph John Coviello.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Sam Bonacorsi, Joe Bonacorsi, Tony Bonacorsi, Alfred Bonacorsi, Mary Messiano and Jean Crandall.

Funeral services will be Thursday April 12, at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church.

Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
