John Rando, 83, of Oswego died Monday at St. Luke Health services after a long illness.
Mr. Rando was born in Oswego the son of the late Joseph and Jennie Rando, and he has remained a lifetime resident. Mr. Rando worked in the offices at Cyclotherm of Oswego for thirty-three years. He later worked in the maintenance department for the Oswego City Savings Bank. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, St. Joseph Choir, and he was an avid card player.
He is survived by his brother Anthony (Laura) Rando of NJ.
Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 a.m. at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, Oswego. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday 9:00 – 11:00 at the funeral home 147 West Fourth St. Oswego.
