Joseph J. Ehli

FULTON, NY – Joseph J. Ehli, of Fulton, was born December 16, 1933, in Bismarck, ND, to Russian immigrant parents, Joseph and Agnes (Dworshack) Ehli.

Joe passed away peacefully on Sunday June 5, 2016, in Oswego, NY.

He grew up and attended schools in Bismarck, ND.

He was raised to be hard-working and was a dedicated learner.

Joe was known for his witty comebacks and one-liners.

Joe served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He was a 60+ member of the Sprinkler Fitters Local # 669m which he worked under in multiple states throughout the country for more than 40 years.

He was also a past member of the Knights of Columbus.

Joe met and married his wife, Betty, who predeceased him.

Together they raised six children, Debbie, Perry, Terry, Jodie, Mary and Cris; whom survive him, along with their spouses; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

His devotion to Betty and his family was equal to his devotion to his faith.

A devout Catholic, Joe had unwavering faith in God.

Over the years, he was very involved with the church and assisted with numerous fundraising events.

In addition to his wife, Joe was preceded in death by a son, his son-in-law, and his four siblings.

Services and burial are private and at the convenience of the family.
