Kenneth A. Keil, 71

OSWEGO, NY – Kenneth A. Keil, 71, of Hannibal died Sunday September 28, 2014, in Oswego Hospital.

He was born in Buffalo, NY, and moved to Oswego County in 1973.

He worked for Niagara Mohawk and Constellation for 27 years in the electrical department and buildings and grounds.

He was a member of the IBEW Local Union #97.

Mr. Keil served in the United States Air Force serving from 1962 until 1968.

He was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabers.

Mr. Keil is survived by his wife, Shirley Keil of Hannibal; and children, Shawn (Sativa) Keil of Florida, Matthew (Alissa) Keil of Minnesota and Holly Fantom of Fulton; stepchildren, Todd Richardson of Red Creek, Justin Richardson of California, Ted (Terri) Richardson of Fulton, Cindy Falter of Rochester and Lisa (Randy) Kinville of Fulton; his sister, Karen (Harry) Geithe of Buffalo; 21 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a stepdaughter, Rhonda Furlong.

Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the Sugar and Scanlon Funeral Home, Oswego.

Burial will be in Fairdale Cemetery.

  1. time celebrate a good mans life this week in Oswego- looking forward to my grass root return to honor my dad and see family and friends
