Mary J. Hoyt, 86

FULTON, NY – Mary J. Hoyt, 86, formerly of Fulton, passed away Wednesday January 18, 2017, peacefully at Grand Guilderland, Altamont, NY, after a short illness.

She was born in Central Square, NY, to the late Mary and Herbert Hines.

Mrs. Hoyt and her late husband, Lawrence, had co-owned and operated LaMar Photo & Tuxedo, Fulton.

She was a past communicant of Holy Family Church and Holy Trinity Church, Fulton.

Mrs. Hoyt was also a past member of the Holy Family Altar Rosary Society and the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

She and her husband enjoyed square dancing together for many years.

Her husband, Lawrence predeceased, her in 1996.

Mrs. Hoyt is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kristine and John Dykeman of Schenectady, NY; grandson, Paul Lawrence Yoo Dykeman; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, February 18, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. John Canorro officiating.

Burial will be held in the spring at Hillside Cemetery, Central Square, NY. missing or outdated ad config
