OSWEGO, NY – Nancy M. Emmons, 75, of Oswego, passed away on Thursday September 22, 2016, at Oswego Hospital, after a long illness.
Mrs. Emmons was born in Cape Vincent, NY, to the late Chaucer and Jessie (Seymour) Bennett.
She has been a resident of Geneva and Sackets Harbor before moving to Oswego two years ago.
She was a past member of the Geneva United Methodist Church, Geneva, NY.
She was predeceased by her son, Ronald Emmons, in 2010; and two brothers Ronald Bennett and Timothy Bennett.
Mrs. Emmons is survived by her husband of 57 years, Edward L. Emmons of Oswego; their children: Edward E. (Lisa) Emmons of Wisconsin, Ethan (Vickie) Emmons of Texas and Nathan (Lisa) Emmons of Oswego; 14 grandchildren,; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and burial will be held privately.
There will be no calling hours.
The Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego, has care of the arrangements.
