Richard F. Cole, 69

FULTON, NY – Richard F. Cole, 69, of Fairhaven, died Saturday November 14, 2015, peacefully at home with his family by his side.

Mr. Cole was born in Fulton, the son of the late Marvin and Marjorie (Cook) Cole.

Mr. Cole was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and a member of the VFW.

He was a salesman for many years and most recently worked at Sun Chevrolet, Chittenango, and Village Chevrolet, Fayetteville.

He enjoyed golfing and playing cards with family and friends, and spending time in Fairhaven, Florida and the Adirondacks.

Mr. Cole is survived by his children, Brent Cole of Brooklyn, NY, and Serra Cole – Longo of Fairhaven; his sister, Lydia (David) Parsons of Fulton; sister-in-law, Beth Cole of Florida; grandchildren: Samantha, Alissa, Cole and Jared; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Cole was predeceased by longtime partner, Sandra Johansen; and his brother, Marvin Cole.

Funeral services and calling hours will be conducted at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be held privately.

  2. RIP Dick….you will now have a Class of ’65 reunion with other classmates who have gone to Heaven. You will be missed.
