FULTON, NY – Robert J. Viscome, 86, of Fulton, passed away at home on Sunday evening April 17, 2016.

He was born in Fulton, to the late Sam and Tessie (Gualtieri) Viscome.

Mr. Viscome was a United States veteran having served in the Marine Corps from 1952 to 1954.

He retired from Sealright Co., Fulton, after 20 years of service and also retired from Local #633.

Mr. Viscome was a past communicant of Holy Family Church, Fulton.

He was predeceased by his grandson, Dylan Blair; and four siblings: Tony Viscome, Al Viscome, Vickie Czerow and Fred Viscome.

Mr. Viscome is survived by his wife of 66 years, Alice (Carpenter) Viscome of Fulton; five children: Ann Marie (Dan) Mahaney of Hannibal, Debbie (Jay) Burris and Laura Viscome both of Baldwinsville, NY, Robert S. Viscome of Fort Worth, Texas, and Susanne Viscome of Fulton; his sister, Tessie Raponi of Fulton; eight grandchildren: David and Tim Miller, Kara Mahaney, Rachel Burris, Elizabeth and Brendan O’Toole and Samantha and Montana Blair, three great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Church, Fulton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. James Schultz.

Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.

Calling hours will be conducted 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
