Ronald B. Emmons, 41

Ronald B. Emmons, 41, of East Mohawk St. Oswego, died Sunday at his home surrounded by his family.

Ron was born in Watertown, and has been a resident of Oswego since 1988. He was the First Sergeant of Continental Arms Collectors Associations. Ron was a former member of the Fort Ontario Guard’s in the 1990’s. He was a communicant of the Reformed Presbyterian Church.

Ron is survived by his wife of twenty-three years Jennifer Cave Emmons of Oswego, his children Zebulun, and Natalie Emmons of Oswego, his parents Edward and Nancy Emmons of Geneva, brothers Edward (Lisa) Emmons of WI, Ethan (Vicki) Emmons of TX, Nathan (Lisa) Emmons of Oswego, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial services will be held Friday October 15,2010 at 4:00 p.m. at the Fort Ontario, Oswego, with Pastor Kit Swartz. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Cape Vincent, NY.

  1. I graduated from high school with Ron in 1986. He was one of the smartest students in the grade. If I remember correctly, he was voted most likely to succeed. The last time I remember seeing and talking with Ron was in the Fall of 1986 when we were all attending different colleges. I was riding home from Syracuse with Chuck Carline, who had came from Rochester (RIT), and we stopped in Oswego to pick Ron up to all come home for the weekend. As I recall, Julie Sharott was also with us.
    May he rest in peace and may his loved ones find solace in family and friends.
