Rose Nearbin Ingersoll, 80

FULTON, NY – FULTON, NY – Rose Nearbin Ingersoll, 80, of Fulton, passed away Sunday November 27, 2016, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.

She was born in Oswego, NY, to the late Foster and Rachel (Naracon) Nearbin.

Mrs. Ingersoll had been a resident of Fulton for more than 50 years.

She was a past participant of the Oswego County Foster Parent Program.

Mrs. Ingersoll served as a Deaconess at the Fulton Alliance Church for many years.

She was also an avid bowler on the local and state levels.

Mrs. Ingersoll was predeceased by her son, Ronald Ingersoll, in 2006; siblings: Robert Nearbin, Kenneth Nearbin, Rhea Beshures and Cathie Garrison.

She is survived by her three children: Cynthia Miller of Central Square, NY, Veronica Blount of Fulton and Zachary Ingersoll of Hannibal, NY; three siblings: Richard Nearbin of Fort Plain, NY, Ruth Legates of Oswego and Cherie Burridge of Oswego; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday at the Fulton Alliance Church, State Route 48, Fulton, with Rev. Jay Spurling officiating.

Burial will be held in Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.

Calling hours will be conducted from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday at the Fulton Alliance Church.

    She was a dear friend of many years.
    In our youth we spent many happy hours together.
    Rose will live on in our memories with deep affection.

  2. Rose was a sweet lady, and always concerned about others. I didn’t know her until I started attending Fulton Alliance Church many years ago. I’m originally from Oswego and did know her twin sisters. Her family and loved ones are all in my thoughts and prayers.
