Stephanie Misch, 96 of Fulton died Saturday at Michaud Residential Health Service, Fulton.

She was born in Oswego to the late Frank and Mary (Shijhia) Wadas. Mrs. Misch lived in Fulton for most of her life. She was a self-employed hairdresser.

Mrs. Misch was a communicant of St. Michael’s Church, St. Michael’s Altar Rosary, and Catholic Daughters Court Pere LeMoyne. She was also a member of the Fulton Polish Home Ladies Auxiliary, the PLAV, and the Golden Agers. She was also a volunteer of A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital Snack Bar, and a member of the Senior Citizens of the Fulton Municipal Building. She enjoyed gardening and traveling extensively.

Mrs. Misch was pre-deceased by her husband of 49 years Claude Misch in 1982, 2 sons: Claude Misch, Jr., in 2002, and Will Misch in 2010; and 2 sisters: Sophie Brooker and Francis Fowler.

She is survived by two sons Robert P. (Sue) Misch of Fulton, and Michael J. Misch of San Francisco, CA, daughter-in-laws: Judy Misch of West Amboy, NY, and Kay Misch of Watertown, NY, 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Tuesday at Holy Trinity Church where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Eric Harer. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. There will be no calling hours. The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton has care of the arrangements.
