Terry O. Morrison, 73

FULTON, NY – Terry O. Morrison, 73, of Fulton, went to be with the Lord and to reunite with his son, Peter, in Heaven on Friday December 6, 2013.

Terry was born in Fulton, November 28, 1940, the son of the late Otis and Elizabeth (Hubbard) Morrison.

He worked at Armstrong and retired from New York Telephone Company, Syracuse, after many years of service.

He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton, Baldwinsville.

Terry’s greatest passion was the love he had for his family.

He was a talented carpenter who built his own home and was instrumental in the construction in each of his children’s homes.

He loved to travel and had the pleasure of seeing many different places in the United States and abroad.

Terry spent summers enjoying the sunsets at Brennans Beach, Pulaski, and he especially enjoyed his winters at The Villages, Florida.

He was the beloved husband of Felicia (LaFrate) Morrison for 54 years; father of Mary Ellen (Norman) Ellis of Hannibal, Laurence (Denise Perkins) Morrison and Patrick (Debra) Morrison all of Fulton; grandfather of Patti, Mary and Keely Morrison and Kristen McClellan; his sister, Sandra Cunningham of North Carolina; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Thomas and Mary Jane Wright of Baldwinsville; sister-in-law Donna LaFrate of Baldwinsville; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A special thank you goes to the staff on the third floor Oncology Unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse, for the care and comfort they provided during this difficult time.

A private memorial will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in the spring.

  1. I grew up with Terry and worked out at the YMCA mornings after retirement, I miss those times and didn’t know you lived as close to us in Florida. My heart and prayers go out to Felicia, and family.

  4. When i was a young lad i met terry because he hung around with Kenny Porter. I vividly remember a few times that he, Kenny and myself would pile into his? Izeta (scooter) and drive down Oneida street; a few times we tipped it over! Terry was always happy and laughing. My prayers and condolences to his family.

    PS; I saw oncology, I have been battling cancer for one year, and to this date am cancer free. I know the battle.
