Tim J. Tompkins, 53

FULTON, NY – Tim J. Tompkins, 53, of Hannibal, passed away at Oswego Hospital on Tuesday July 16, 2019, after a long illness.

He was a lifetime resident of Hannibal.

Tim enjoyed carpentry, fishing, and farming.

He had a great love for animals and family.

Tim is survived by his wife of 26 years, Lyda L. Wing of Hannibal; five children: India Tompkins, Crystal J. Tompkins, Tim Tompkins Jr., Beau Tompkins and Xavier Tompkins; his adoptive mother, Norma Tompkins; first wife: Tina Tompkins; siblings: Cindy (Rush,) Wendy, Cindy (Halstead) and Joyce; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Tim was predeceased by his adoptive dad, Bill Tompkins.

Funeral services and burial will be held privately.

There will be no calling hours.

The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton, has care of the arrangements.
