FULTON, NY – Timothy J. Sherman, 46, of Fulton died peacefully on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at St. Luke Health Services, Oswego.
He was born in Syracuse, NY, and he had been a resident of Phoenix and Fulton all of his life.
Tim was graduated from the State University of New York College at Oswego where he received his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and a Master Degree in Counselling.
Tim had a wonderful personality and enjoyed using his sense of humor to make people laugh and feel at ease.
He was an avid fan of hockey, and enjoyed watching Syracuse University’s basketball and football teams along with his dad.
Tim also liked playing cards.
He is survived by his parents, John and Laura Sherman of Fulton; brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Angela Sherman of Buffalo, NY; nephew, Ian; and nieces, Audrey and Nina.
Calling hours will be held 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday followed by the funeral service at 2:30 p.m. at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton, with Rev. James Lagoe officiating.
Burial will be held privately.

Dear john and laura: i am so sorry to hear about the loss of tim! We have so many good memories of tim and the rest of the hockey teams through the years. Rich loved playing with tim and was always fond of tim. We have lost touch through the years since we moved to north carolina but you and the family have been kept in our hearts and minds.
