OSWEGO, NY – Timothy “Possum, Birdman” LaQuire, 58, of Oswego, died Monday July 22, 2013.
He was born in Syracuse, and had been a resident of Oswego most of his life.
Tim was an employee of Novelis Corp., Oswego.
He loved playing his guitars and listening to his music collection.
He was a former member of the American Legion.
Tim is survived by his wife of 22 years Angela M. LaQuire of Oswego; daughters Felecia (Paul) Reed of Liverpool and Angela R. LaQuire of Fulton; parents, Keith and Jean Egnew of Oswego; sisters, Kim Ellingwood and Kathy (Bob) Ruggio of Oswego; brother, Vince (Betty) LaQuire of Fulton; grandchildren, Lily Wright, Emma Long, Madison Majeski and Natalie Reed; and step-brothers, sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
Tim was predeceased by his sister, Marlene Hasselbauer.
Funeral services will be Friday at 7 p.m. at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home.
Calling hours will be Friday 4 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego.

Vince, I am so sorry to read of your brothers passing. I may be living out of state now, but still try to keep abreast of going ons in Fulton. I miss the friendships I made while living there, but we still keep in contact. May you find inner peace as well as your family in this time of sorrow. xxoo
