Howard “Bunk” Cary, 81, of Fulton, died November 17, 2008, after a brief illness.

He was born and lived in the same home all his life.  Bunk was a lifetime farmer. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 418, Phoenix and the New York State Draft Pony and Mule Association.  Bunk was predeceased by three sisters, three brothers and a granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elaine (Deyo) Cary; six children, Keith (Roxanne) Cary of Fulton, Diane (Danny) Stoutenger of Fulton, Rodger (Michelle) Cary of Fulton, Danny (Patricia) Cary of Martville, Mary (Frank) Lovejoy of Oswego, Bonnie (Max) McClellan of Fulton; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton. Burial will be in Jacksonville Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.
