Jean A. Pierce, 68

OSWEGO, NY – Jean A. Pierce, 68 and a resident of 570 O’Connor Road, in the town of Scriba, died Wednesday March 10, 2010, in Oswego Hospital.

She was born in Fulton and was the daughter of the late Frank and Vivian Stacey MacDonald and stepdaughter of the late James Clark.

Mrs. Pierce was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth E. Pierce Sr., who died in 2006.

Mrs. Pierce was a member of RSVP and enjoyed bingo and quilting.

She is survived by two daughters, Laura Hibbert of Oswego and Deborah (Jason) Germain of Oswego Town; one son, Kenneth E. Pierce Jr. of Scriba; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Pierce, who died in 2003; and a brother, James MacDonald, who died in 1989.

Funeral services will be Friday 7 p.m. at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce V. Schrader officiating.

Calling hours will be from 4-7 p.m. prior to the service.

  1. I went on a few calls for Scriba Rescue for Mrs. Pierce…. she was a very sweet woman…… I also am a friend of Homey, Sarah and Hope…… my condolenses to your family……. take care and god bless
