Margaret J. (Vandish) Gover

Margaret J. (Vandish) Gover, 57, a resident of 45 Butternut Dr., Oswego, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2009 at home.

Born in Fulton, she was the daughter of the late George and Pearl (Taylor) Bonham.

Mrs. Gover was employed as a Clerk at SUNY Oswego for 28 years.

She was a member of the CSEA Local #611, and served as the local treasurer.
Mrs. Gover enjoyed bowling and was an Oswego County Literacy Volunteer.

She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Oswego.

Surviving is her husband, William “Brian” Gover of Oswego; one daughter, Jennifer Vandish of South Carolina; two sons, James (Lisa) Vandish of Oswego and Michael (Shana) Vandish of Fulton; two brothers, Arthur Bonham of California and Thomas Bonham of Texas; one sister, Caroline Bonham of Texas; three grandchildren, Nathan Vandish, Damian Vandish and Kayla Vandish.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Oswego.

Burial will be in Oswego Town Rural Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 45 East Utica St., Oswego, NY 13126 or Oswego YMCA, 249 W. First St., Oswego, NY 13126.

    I’m so sorry for your loss. It will be hard; your Mom was always there and now she is gone. Keep her memory in your heart; I’m sure she is smiling at you. Because I was in Buffalo I could not be with you Wednesday. Please accept my condolences.
