OSWEGO, NY – Marilynn Doud, 79, a former resident of the Ladies Home, passed away on Sunday Dec. 13, 2009, at the Sunrise Nursing Home.
Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Rita (Corpon) Doud and was a graduate of Oswego High School.
She was an office worker who enjoyed sewing and cards.
Marilynn had five children, Linda Owen, Darlene Booth, Debbie Harding, Al Simons and Dennis Podany who predeceased her.
She was one of 12 children, her sisters, Betty, Mary, Virginia; and her brothers, Melvin, John, Ray, Jim, Charles, Bruce, Leon and a brother, Leonard who predeceased her.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Rural Cemetery.
There are no calling hours.
Contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
Arrangements are in care of the Dowdle Funeral Home.

I am so incredibly sorry that Marilynn passed away. I am one of Leonard’s
daughters. I just wanted to look up a website about Oswego and that was
when I found the obituary. I am so sorry. My deepest condolences go out to each
