Mary Arcadi, 81, 05/19/2008

FULTON, NY – Mary Arcadi, 81, of Fulton, has found peace with the Lord.

She was born in Oswego, NY, and she had been a resident of Fulton for most of her life.

She was past employed with the Oswego Chocolate Factory, and with Oak Street School for 20 years.

Mrs. Arcadi was a past member of the Elks Auxiliary, and St. Michael’s Altar Rosary Society.

Mrs. Arcadi was honored with Lady Elk of the Year.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Karen Osborne, in 1974.

Mrs. Arcadi is survived by her husband of 59 years, James Arcadi of Fulton; her children, Theresa Coppage of Penfield, NY, James L. Arcadi of Lehigh Acres, Fla., and Sandra (Dan) Attwood of Oswego; her brother, Anthony Marturano of Long Island, NY; her sister, Fran Enwright of Oswego; seven grandchildren:  Andrew, Rachel and Sarah Arcadi, Christina and Lacey Coppage, Jordan and Austin Attwood; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 9 a.m. Friday at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton, with Rev. Robert Stephenson officiating.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.

Calling hours will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Sugar Funeral Home.

  1. Mary was a very special lady in my life for many years… many afternoons were spent with her, Jim and my mom (Rose). Great people with warm hearts! You will be missed Mary!

    I’am so sorry to hear about your Mother. I’ll always remeber being at her and your Dads house as a little girl. She was a wonderful women.
