OSWEGO, NY – Matthew Piazza, 43, of Oswego died June 1, 2008, at his home after a sudden attack.
Mr. Piazza was born in Oswego, the son of Mildred Piazza and the late James Piazza.
Mr. Piazza has remained a life resident of the Oswego area.
He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandson.
Mr. Piazza was an avid race fan.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Debra Piazza of Oswego; and his loving children, Kayleen and Heather Piazza of Oswego and Chris Curcie of Oswego; his brothers, James (Cherie) Piazza of Cicero, Dominick (Karen) Piazza of Oswego, Paul Piazza of Oswego, Richard (Beth) Piazza of Oswego; and  sisters, Shirley (Calvin) Stevens of Hannibal and Annette (Chris) Fragale of Oswego; his grandson, Joey Curcie-Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Wednesday 4 – 7 p.m. at the Sugar and Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to his children Kayleen and Heather Piazza, and Chris Curcie.

Sorry too hear about your loss we didn’t know him too well but remember him always calling in orders for meatball subs on tuesday what a super good guy he was .He always had time to chat especialy about racing that i will always remember he will be missed by me and the crew at fulton Jrecksubs
