OSWEGO, NY – Melanie S. Gardner, 38, died on Sept. 14, 2009, at her home.
Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of Michael Gardner of Oswego and Mary Patricia Grant Gardner of Atlanta.
She had attended Oswego schools.
She was a medical secretary in Atlanta and Syracuse.
Melanie was an avid horseback rider who enjoyed scrapbooking, needlepointing and making blankets for people.
Surviving besides her parents are her sister, Regina Gardner of Oswego; one niece, Schuyler Gardner of Oswego; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Burial will in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Saturday from 3-7 p.m.
