OSWEGO, NY – Michael G. Wilson, 52, died on November 4, 2007, at his home in Oswego under the care of his family and Oswego County Hospice.
He was born on December 21, 1954, in Syracuse N.Y.
He was a son of John S. Wilson and the late Gertrude (Patchett) Wilson.
He was a graduate of the West Genesse High School, Class of 1976.
He was president of Shapiro Paper Co. Inc. at the time of his death.
Michael enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends.
Surviving are his father, John S. Wilson and stepmother, Ellen Sue Wilson of Morristown N.Y.; a brother, Thomas Wilson of Oswego; two sisters, Elizabeth (Robert) Frey of Mechanisville, Md. and Patricia (Lawrence) Vogel of Cortland; two nieces, Corine and Emily Frey; a nephew, Jesse O’Day; and several cousins.
He was predeceased by his mother, Gertrude, in 1993.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday November 14 at 1:30 p.m. from the Paige Memorial Chapel in Riverside Cemetery.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
