Richard T. LaTulip, 75

OSWEGO, NY – Richard T. LaTulip, 75, a resident of 201 W. Seventh St., died unexpectedly at home on Sunday Jan. 3, 2010.

Born in Oswego, he was a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Dyett) LaTulip Sr.

He attended Oswego schools, and was a graduate of Oswego High School.

Richard worked for the Marathon Corporation in Oswego before being employed with Syroco in Baldwinsville for more than 40 years.

After his retirement, he returned to Oswego where he lived with his sister, Nan, for the past 2 1/2 years.

He was a veteran, serving with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Surviving are two sisters, Nan LaTulip and Rosamond (Donald) Buske, both of Oswego; a brother, James (Doris) LaTulip of Orange City, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Barbara LaTulip and Mary Harter; and four brothers, Robert, Joseph Jr., John, and Arthur LaTulip.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. from St. Mary’s Church.

Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m.
