OSWEGO, NY – Robert F. Evans, 76, a resident of 96 Hamilton St., Oswego, passed away October 29, 2007, at Oswego Hospital.
Born in Syracuse, N.Y., he was the son of the late Clarence and Louise (Cowdrill) Evans.
Mr. Evans was a Korean U.S. Marines veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.
Bob was employed as a sub-contractor at Southwest Telephone in Arizona for more than 15 years.
He returned to Oswego in 1993.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Post 227.
Surviving is a sister, Anne (Jerald) Manganiello of Nedrow, NY.
Services and burial will be private.
