Robert L. Reynolds Sr., 57

Robert L. Reynolds Sr., 57; of Fulton died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at University Hospital, Syracuse after a long illness.

He was born in Fulton, NY and he has been a resident of Fulton since 1973. Mr. Reynolds worked locally for many years as an auto mechanic. He was a 15-year volunteer fireman and past president with the Cody Volunteer fire Department. Mr. Reynolds was a member of the Fulton Bowling Association.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Jennifer C. Reynolds of Fulton, 3 children: Robert (Sherri) Reynolds Jr., of Fulton, Carrie (James) Hoy of Fulton, Michael (Lisa) Reynolds of Fulton, 3 brothers: Homer Reynolds Jr., and Norman Reynolds both of NC. and Paul Reynolds of TX., 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton with Rev. Vivian Summerville officiating. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held 9:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday in the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc.

    I am so sorry to hear about Rob Reynold’s death. He had a great sense of humor–wasn’t he the Santa Claus who invited me to sit on his knee at Cody BBQ a few years ago? And I admired his determination to live a good life even with such health problems. I will miss him.
