FULTON, NY – Rossman Wright, 65, of Fulton, died Oct. 22, 2008, at his home.

He was born to the late Willard Wright and Rebecca Guiffrida.

He had been a life resident of Fulton.

Mr. Wright was a United States veteran having served in the Army from 1963 to 1967 stationed in Vietnam.

He was honored with the Vietnamese Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and he was a Purple Heart recipient.

Mr. Wright retired from the Laborers Local #214, Oswego, NY.

He was a life member of the Fulton VFW #569 and the American Legion.

He was predeceased by his step-father, Joseph; and brothers, Calvin and Huey.

He is survived by his two daughters, Lorraine and Patricia Wright, both of Oswego; five siblings, Sandra (Joseph) McNamara of Ohio, Jo Roush of Fulton, Rebecca Durfey of North Carolina, John Wright of Arizona, and Teressa Wright of Fulton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and calling hours will be private.

Burial will be conducted privately at Bath National Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bath, NY.
