FULTON, NY – Shirley Lamson, 81, of Fulton, NY, died Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at Oswego Hospital.
She was born in Syracuse, NY, and she has been a resident of Fulton for most of her life.
She was retired from Sealright, Co. after 42 years.
Mrs. Lamson was an animal lover.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harlow S. Lamson, in 1979; and her son, John McEwen, in 1965.
Mrs. Lamson is survived by her son, Harlow P. (Joanne) Lamson of Auburn, NY; her sister, Janet (Tony) LaRock of Chemung, NY; three grandchildren, James (Molly) Lamson, Judy (Dennis) Spaulding, John (Nicole) Lamson; six great-grandchildren, James P. Lamson Jr., Thomas R. Spaulding, Dennis Spaulding Jr., Tyler Spaulding, and Jack Lamson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton, with Methodist Lay Minister Tony LaRock.
Burial will be in Springbrook Cemetery, Fair Haven, NY.
Calling Hours will be held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
