Thomas P. Robas, 91, 11/04/2007

FULTON, NY – Thomas P. Robas, 91, of Fulton, died Sunday Nov. 4, 2007, at Sunrise Nursing Home, Oswego.

A native of Watertown, Mr. Robas had resided in Fulton most of his life.

He retired in 1981 as a foreman at Nestle Company in Fulton after more than 40 years.

Mr. Robas was a life member of VFW Post 569 in Fulton.

He was a member of the Nestle Foreman’s Club and the Quarter Century Club.

He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theater.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Mr. Robas was predeceased by a brother, James, who died in 1999; and by two sisters, Rose Kanelli, who died in 2000, and Helen Stathis, who died in 2003.

Surviving: a daughter, Patricia Anagnostopoulos of Thessalonika, Greece; brother, Nicholas P. Robas of South Glens Falls; sister, Lefterea Murchie of Oswego; a grandson, Elias Thomas Anagnostopoulos of Thessalonika, Greece; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 325 Waring Road, Syracuse, 13224.
