Vance D. Moore, Jr., 69

Vance D. Moore, Jr., 69, of Fulton died June 30, 2009.

He was born October 13, 1939, in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania and lived most of his life in Fulton. Vance was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked at Nestle Company for several years. Vance was predeceased by his parents, Vance D. Moore, Sr. and Rae Doris Moore and by a daughter, Sheri Ann Moore.

He is survived by six children, Dorothy Moore of Ithaca, Shane Moore, Robert Moore and Vance D. “Trapper” Moore all of Fulton, Robin Moore and Melissa Moore both of Oswego; two sisters, Lynn McMillen of Oswego and Rae Dee Kelley of Arkansas; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and five nephews.

Calling hours are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday with a 1 p.m. service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. Burial will be at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, Hannibal.
