OCO Health Education to Host a National Webcast on HIV Pre-Exposure and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis

Oswego County Opportunities Health Education would like to invite members of the public to attend a live, national webcast on HIV Pre-Exposure & Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEp and PEP). The webcast will be held on October 22 from noon to 2 p.m. in the OCO board room at the OCO Main Office, 239 Oneida St, Fulton.

The goal of this live webcast is to enable the attendee(s) to have the most recent information on HIV pre/post exposure prophylaxis (PrEP and PEP). Attendee(s) will learn about the current guidelines for initiating PrEP & PEP and what medications can be prescribed as PrEP and PEP. Some continuing education credits may be available.

Oswego County Opportunities operates several Reproductive Health Centers throughout Oswego County where individuals may get free and confidential HIV testing. No appointment may be needed as walk-in testing is usually available.
