The Officers and Directors of the Friends of History In Fulton, N. Y., Inc., will host their annual Cookies and Punch Christmas Open house at the John Wells Pratt House Museum, 177 South First Street, Fulton, N.Y. from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 27.
The community is invited to come and enjoy cookies, punch, family holiday fun and musical entertainment. Take some time to delight in the Parade of Trees display, vote for your favorites, tour the museum, and relax in the festive holiday atmosphere of this Victorian 1861 home that is listed on the Historic Register.
Visitors are asked to bring an unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots campaign, as the Pratt House is a drop off point for this campaign sponsored by the Marine Corp. Reserve.
The Pratt House gift shop will also be open for shopping.
Richard Beyer’s current book “3rd Edition of the Hunter Arms and the L. C. Smith Gun” is available, as well as the book on the Hunter family history and many other unusual items for gift giving. Proceeds from these sales benefit the Friends of History In Fulton, N. Y., Inc., the operators of the John Wells Pratt House Museum.
The public is welcome to stop by anytime between 2:00 and 4:00 P.M. for refreshments and to take a break from the holiday rush. For more information, call 315-598-4616.
