Letter submission:
Why are the American people and the media so obsessively insistent on calling our current elected chief executive by the title of President?
The presidency is defined by the activities listed in Article II of the Constitution. Nothing about the activities of our current Oval Office occupant matches anything found in Article II.
Therefore, it would seem we are not only free but obligated to call him by some different title like emperor, tyrant, king, despot or dictator because his approach to the office is much closer to those titles than it is to “president.”
