How dumb am I as a Democrat?

Recently I have heard that as a Democrat I must be pretty dumb, because I heard our President say we are “Dumbocrats”

It made me ponder how dumb I might be. Here are some of my conclusions:

• I am so dumb I believe no child in Oswego County should go hungry!
• I am so dumb I believe that everyone should be able to get access to healthcare and not have to worry that they might have to declare bankruptcy if they have a serious illness.
• I am so dumb I think there should be reasonable or free day care costs so people can work and not lose money by paying for day care while working.
• I am so dumb I believe we should be actively working with the IDA and others to get more housing in the county, instead of more solar farms.
• I am so dumb I think we should actually treat everyone like they have basic human rights as established by the constitution.
• I am so dumb I believe veterans should not be screwed out of healthcare by politicians who get superior healthcare that they vote for themselves.
• I am so dumb I think that people who work for the county should have their contract approved so they can continue to work hard to do their jobs and get paid what is fair. Maybe I am so dumb that I think the people who voted themselves raises should get up off their butts and get it done.
• I am so dumb I believe that there should be a plan on what to do when this body must add more people to DSS when the next phase of the Big BS Bill kicks in, especially since they can’t seem to keep DSS staffed at all.

BUT, I am not so dumb that I believe the same party that has been in control of this legislature for over 50 years when they say they are going to make things better if they stay in control.

There is a quote that I think is appropriate:

“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
