Letters To The Editor: Jon A. Seeber – Retirement

Letter to the editor: Jon A. Seeber
Today is a bittersweet day for sure. After 27 years of service, I am taking the next step in the chapters of my life and “retiring” from the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office. I like to refer to it as “refocusing” instead of “retiring” and try to focus more now on my family, friends, and myself.
I am grateful for the opportunities I had along the way, especially serving as the Sheriff’s Officer Spokesperson and Community Relations Supervisor, but most grateful for the connections that have turned into friendships.
I will always be grateful for the opportunity I had to work with all of you and I couldn’t have asked for a greater community to serve.
As some of you may know, I pursued a second career in acting and will continue with this to keep myself busy.
My last day in the office is December 21st and a retirement “get-together” is planned for some time in late January. I will keep you informed on the exact date, time, and location.
Take care!
Sincerely,
Jon
