The Oswego City School District Board of Education will return to the school year schedule of committee and regular meetings on Tuesday, September 10.
The Board of Education will meet at the Oswego High School Anthony J. Murabito Media Center.
At 6 p.m. Michael McLaughlin will take his oath of office to officially become a board member. He replaces James Tschudy for the remainder of a one year term which will expire on June 30, 2014.
Immediately following the swearing in ceremony the latest high school graduates will receive their diploma. Students completing their graduation requirements in August included Timothy Burdick Jr., Shelby Schulze, Schuyler Gardner, Sarah Omundsen, Brittany Jung, Alexander Somers, Beau Todd, Eric Waterman Jr. and Matthew Getman.
The board will then move to the personnel and finance committee meetings.
At 5 p.m. the regular board meeting will be called to order, but there will be a move to executive session as BOCES District Superintendent Chris Todd will share the applicants relating to the search for a new Oswego City School District Superintendent.
