We headed down to Homer on May 16 in our final game of the season and met a tough offensive host in them.
They have several girls who have great stick skills and attack the cage with every possession they get.
They were a tough group to defend.
Offensively for us we had several good scoring chances and a lot of good looks on the offensive end of the field but could not finish all of our possessions.
Going into the game Senior Midfielder Maddy Taylor had 149 career goals going into the game, so we started the game with some excitement hoping to see her reach the 150th milestone.
Five minutes into the game Maddy got a great open look and put it in the cage for her 150th career goal.
It means a lot to see girls lacrosse players here in the area reach such milestones and Maddy Taylor is one of those who reaches some milestones in her career here in Oswego.
Abby Yurkon in net for us again came up big several times and she saw a lot of shots tonight.
Overall we have had a bit of an up and down season full of emotion with the passing of Wink.
Five seniors are leaving us and have been contributors to the program so we look to the girls who are juniors to lead the way for us next year and look forward to what the future brings next season for us.
