Oswego Girls’ Volleyball Looks To Finish Strong

Phoenix tournament
We had a very good outing with our Phoenix tournament trip.

We had several close sets in pool play and went into the silver division where we started with Bishop Ludden in the semi-final match and beat them two sets to none and with that win put us into the silver championship match with South Seneca.

The first set with South Seneca we stormed out quickly but some of our errors allowed them to rally back, we were able to keep it together and win the first set.

The second set saw a lot of good back and forth volleyball and we were able to win the second set by two to take the silver championship.

Vs. Auburn
We came out very quickly against visiting Auburn and the scores and stats show that we came to play.

Very happy with how well our girls played today and how quickly they came out from the first whistle to the last whistle.

Vs. JD
The first set was great back and forth volleyball and we took that set by two in extra points.

We had very few errors in set one.

Set two and set three we allowed JD to control the floor too much and it cost us in the end.

We have two matches left and a tournament and I think we can rebound to finish strong to close out our season.
