Oswego Health recently recognized 92 individuals that volunteer throughout the health system, as well as its auxilians at a luncheon held during National Volunteer Week.
At the luncheon, the volunteers were given a small gift in appreciation for their service and Oswego Health President and CEO Ann C. Gilpin read a proclamation approved by the health system’s board of directors.
The healthcare provider also recognized several volunteers for their many years of service.
Seated from left are Emma Corradino, who has volunteered for 27 years, the longest of any volunteer; and Amy Oralls, who has volunteered 474 hours this year, most of those hours were in the Oswego Hospital’s emergency department.
Standing from left are Oswego Health Director of Volunteers and Auxiliary Sarah Weigelt; Maurice “Mo” Laws, who volunteered 1,884 hours this year at Oswego Hospital; and Oswego Health President and CEO Ann C. Gilpin.
Missing from the photo is Donna Gadek, who volunteered at the Fulton Medical Center’s 510 Café for a total of 1,179 hours this last year.
