Oswego, NY – Oswego Health has partnered with the Tri-Oswego 2011 Triathlon as the naming sponsor of the Wellness Expo that will be held during the June 25th and 26th weekend event, according to Tri-Oswego Race Director Ron Nelson.
“We greatly appreciate the support of Oswego Health and are looking forward to the health, wellness and community initiatives planned for the Oswego Health Wellness Expo,” said Nelson.
The Oswego Health Wellness Expo will include a number of different vendors including: Dr. Thomas Bunker, DDS, The Mustard Seed, Oswego YMCA, the river’s end bookstore, Facilitated Enrollment, American Red Cross, Oswego Health, Move Along, Inc., Warner Physical Therapy, Farnham Family Services, Oswego Harborfest, Market America/Isotonix, Fleet Feet, GNC, Reality Check, Summit Physical Therapy, Syracuse Bicycle, Your Bureau and Oswego County AmeriCorps, “How Does Tobacco Look on You?”, Rural Health Network of Oswego County, Cancer Services Program, and Pathfinder Bank. Additional vendors are also being finalized.
According to Lynne Morris, chairperson of the Oswego Health Wellness Expo, the vendors will complement the weekend’s activities, and are a mix of health-related businesses and non-profits, event sponsors, and community advocates.
“We’re very excited about the diverse organizations that have joined on for this year’s Expo,” said Morris. “We are fortunate to have the support of our sponsor Oswego Health and others in the community who will be on site throughout the weekend.”
The USA Triathlon sanctioned event will include a Sprint Tri, Intermediate Tri, and Sprint Relay Tri event on Sunday, June 26th, and youth are encouraged to sign up for events and activities that will take place a day earlier on Saturday, June 25th.
