Oswego Industries, Inc. recently hosted its annual picnic for employees and program participants at its main facility in Fulton, NY. This year’s picnic, attended by nearly 400 people, featured a variety of games, including softball, water relay, 3-legged race, egg toss, water balloon toss, ring toss, guess how many pennies, a bubble station and more.
Also featured were horses, a DJ on the patio, bingo and plenty of food. For those folks who stayed in out of the sun, Nancy Evale of Pet Partners of Syracuse visited with Charlie, her therapy dog.
A big highlight of the picnic was the chance for attendees to meet members of many local race teams, including Randy Ritishes, Shawn Gosselin, Steven Gioia III, Mike Bruce, Rob Pullen, Jim Southard, Daniel Cliff, Chris Smiedly, Austin Pullen and Brandon Carvey, all of whom volunteered their time meeting the program participants, signing autographs, and showing them the race cars.
The picnic was also made possible by donations from local businesses, including Mr. Mike’s Seafood, Wal-Mart, Grandma Brown’s Baked Beans, Renzi Food Service, Dawn Lewis and Tom Blanchard.
