Oswego Kartway Ready for Fourth Edition of Fall Frenzy 100 this Saturday


OSWEGO, NY – This Saturday Oswego Kartway will once again put on the RJ Kart Sales Fall Frenzy 100 at the Bullring, which will mark the fourth 100-lap event ever to be run on the Kartway’s racing surface.

The Fall Frenzy Championships presented by RJ Kart Sales on September 24 will feature the $1,000 to win 100-lap State Clone Medium (360) championship as well as a $250 to win 50-lap Clone Medium (350) main.

The Fall Frenzy 100 will guarantee $1,000 to the winner with another $550 being spread from second through fifth in the rundown.

Another $650 in contingency awards will also be spread between fast time, the halfway leader, the hard charger, as well as the first driver not to qualify.

Lap sponsorships are also available for only $5 by calling (315) 342-0646.

Entry fees for the 100-lapper will be $50 for non-members and $45 for members, which includes pit passes.

Drivers competing in the Fall Frenzy 100 must also enter either State Clone Light or State Clone Heavy.

The Fall Brawl 50 for Clone Medium will guarantee $250 to the winner, $100 to second and $50 to third.

Another $100 will be awarded to the pole winner, with $100 to the halfway leader.

Entry fees for the 50-lapper will be $40 for non-members, and $35 for members.

Drivers competing in the Fall Brawl 50 must also enter in either Clone Light, Clone Medium or Clone Super Heavy.

The two money divisions are for ages 14 and up.

All other Kartway classes will also be in action, racing for trophies.

Entry fees for those divisions will be $25 for non-members and $20 for members.

All divisions will time trial with B-Mains and A-Mains to follow on September 24.

No more than 13-karts will start the money races.

Pit gates will open on September 24 at noon with the drivers’ meeting at 1:30 p.m., hot laps at 2 p.m., and time trials at 3 p.m.

Racing will follow.

An official race order will be announced soon.

The previous three 100-lappers contended at the Kartway were won by Bullring veterans Dan Kapuscinski, Ricky Prtichard and Chris Natoli.

Pritchard was the only driver to win a 100-lapper in a Clone motor division, coming in 2014.

Kapuscinski and Natoli won Fall Frenzy 100 championships in the Flathead division in 2013 and 2014.

Followng the Fall Frenzy championships the Kartway will run another fun show on September 30.

The schedule will then be reevaluated after Oswego Speedway’s Super DIRT Week, with shows also tentatively set for October 14 and October 21.

As always spectators are welcome to come to the Kartway and enjoy the racing action.

A full service concession stand is open, with limited bleacher seating.

Fans are encouraged to bring their vehicle and park along the racing surface for a great view of the action.

Admission for fans is only $5 per car load.
