Oswego Players Schedule Auditions

OSWEGO – Paul McKinney, in his directorial debut with the Oswego Players, has announced that open auditions are being held on Jan. 11 and 12 at 7 p.m. in the Frances Marion Brown Theater in the Oswego Civic Arts Center for Neil Simon’s comedy, “Last of the Red Hot Lovers.”

The play will open the Oswego Players’ 79th season of continuous community theater in Oswego.

Roles are available for one man, age 50 and three women, ages 40, 20 and 50.

McKinney has been a member of the Players for more than 50 years and this is his first foray into directing for the group.

He comes with a wealth of on-stage experience and was assistant director for the 2016 production of “Way Down East.”

“Last of the Red Hot Lovers” is one of two plays by Neil Simon the Players will be presenting in 2017 to celebrate the playwright’s 90th birthday.

“Last of the Red Hot Lovers” is scheduled for performances March 18, 19, 24, 25, 26.
