The Oswego Pride Committee is a group of community members that is committed to helping to create a future for Oswego that is free from discrimination. In an effort to promote this philosophy the Oswego Pride Committee is thrilled to announce Oswego’s very first Pride Parade and celebration scheduled for October 12.
This family friendly event will begin at 11 a.m. with the parade starting at Breitbeck Park and ending at Lake Street and West First Street.
A family friendly festival will take place after at the Veterans’ stage and on the River Walk – West. The community is invited to sit along the parade route to enjoy the parade and join in on the fun at the festival afterwards.
Local non-profit vendors, craft vendors, food vendors and kid friendly activities will be available to all at the festival immediately after the parade on the River Walk. Local performers will also provide entertainment at the stage with seating available for people to enjoy the show.
