OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Speedway’s racing action, presented by Oswego County Federal Credit Union and Bosco’s Famous Italian Sausage, originally scheduled for Saturday, August 16 has been postponed due to rain until Sunday, August 17 at 11 a.m.
Rain showers began to fall on the Speedway during hot laps at 4:30 p.m., bringing all warmup periods to an end. Speedway officials made the call some 90 minutes later to postpone racing to the posted raindate of Sunday.
Pit gates will open Sunday at 10 a.m. with grandstand gates opening and hot laps beginning at 11 a.m.
All teams will receive one hot lap session at 11 a.m. with racing action set to go green at noon.
The full schedule of racing will go off on Sunday with three Pathfinder Bank Small Block Super heats, three Novelis Supermodified heats, followed by twin Pathfinder Bank Small Block Super 20-lap features and a 50-lap Novelis Supermodified feature.
All those in the grandstand on Saturday must bring their purchased ticket stub with them on Sunday for re-entry.
Rainchecks are only good for Sunday and cannot be applied to any other event being that the Speedway is racing on a published raindate.

General admission seating is available for Sunday for only $17 with Price Chopper Tickets to Go again available at any Price Chopper Supermarkets store for only $14.
Once again in 2014, kids 16 and under will be admitted free of charge with a paid adult with active military also admitted free with ID.
