Palermo Man Arrested On Child Porn, Drug Charges

FULTON – State Police in Fulton arrested Jay F. Elhage Jr., 36, from Palermo, for 2 counts of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class “D” felony, 2 counts of Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class “E” felony, 2 counts Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree (cocaine, and concentrated cannabis), a class “A” misdemeanor, and 1 count of Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a violation.

Today, April 10, a search warrant was executed at Elhage’s residence based on an investigation conducted by the Internet Crimes against Children Task Force.

Investigators located numerous images of children less than 17 years old engaging in sexual conduct.

Elhage was arraigned in the town of Scriba Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail/ $10,000 secured bond pending Grand Jury action.
